OPENING HOURS FOR DBKU SERVICE COUNTER AT JALAN SATOK

Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm
 

NEW REQUIREMENTS IF YOU INTEND TO:

With effect from 18 January 201 Department of Land & Survey, Kuching Division requires you to obtain a Certficate of Indebtedness [Form G(1)] from The Commission of Kuching City North (DBKU) before any dealings on your land can be registered at the Registrar of The Land Office.

To obtain the Form G(1) from DBKU please follow the procedures below:

1. Ensure all arrears of rates has been paid
2. Payment of 1st half year rate (if application during Jan-Jun) and 2nd half year rate (if application during the period of July-Dec)
3. Ensure other fees or charges for services rendered in relation to the land has been settled.

Kindly note that certificate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3R LIVING LIFESTYLE PROGRAMME
KUCHING , 19th January 2010 (Tuesday) -
The "3R Living Lifestyle Programme" was initiated by the Environmental Division of DBKU to create awareness and inculcate the concept of "3R" i.e. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, amongst the city dwellers towards the global objectives of a pollution free world and also maintain cleanliness in their own backyards. A campaign on this programme with the cooperation of Hearts Treasure Gallery was held on 4th to 6th December, 2009 at No. 394 Lot 311 Kpg. Laruh Scheme, Jalan Matang Kuching. MAINTENANCE FOR RECREATION PARK
KUCHING , 19th January 2010 (Tuesday) -
Kuching City has been recognized as a “Garden City” by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2004. In line with the recognition, the city folks are urged to cooperate with DBKU to sustain its status as a Garden City and to maintain it as a clean, safe and livable city. (click for full details)
 
KEEP THE SARAWAK RIVER CLEAN
KUCHING , 12th January 2010 (Tuesday) -
Sarawak River is one of the natural heritages of  Kuching City. It is the source of water for daily consumption, transportation waterway, water sports and recreational activities. The new Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building and Kuching Waterfront complements the beauty of the Sarawak River. The water front on the southern bank of the Sarawak River has become a tourist’s attraction from within and outside the country. (click for full details)
 

ILLEGAL HAWKERS AROUND DBKU'S AREAS
KUCHING , 6th January 2010 (Wednesday) -
Hawking is one of the activities being practiced on full-time or part time basis. It supplements the income of “part time” hawkers while it has a low capital out lay with minimum hassles for the full timer. This has contributed to the many unlicensed hawkers within the DBKU’s jurisdiction, which has put a challenge on DBKU authority as a regulatory and enforcing agency. (click for full details)
